Full Moon Drumming
The moon, being Earth’s closest celestial neighbor, has had and continues to have a huge influence on our experience with nature, as well as on our culture, our spirituality, even our bodies. Each month on the Friday night nearest the Full Moon every month we gather on the acreage at 9932 E. Wilshire Blvd (Spencer).
We drum, howl, laugh, and talk. Bring a drum and a snack of your choice and join us.
Each drumming event is preceded by a vegetarian potluck. Potluck is at 5:30, drumming begins at 6:30 p.m. unless Daylight Savings Time is in effect, in which case, potluck is at 6:30 and drumming begins at 7:30pm.
Always call ahead to confirm that you are coming. Call (405-204-6479) or email to email@example.com.
Winter Solstice is shortest day and longest night of the year and is traditionally a time to think about rebirth and renewal. We will celebrate the Winter Solstice on Thursday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Open Arms UCC, 3131 N. Penn, Oklahoma City.
