Our land and facilities

MettaWing is a 5-acre area northeast of Oklahoma City (5 miles east of I-35).  We have meeting space indoors for up to 25 people, lots of outdoor space, a rustic, large fire pit, an indoor meditation area, and comfortable kitchen able to cook for a group.  There is limited guest space for overnight visitors.

We have about 30 hens, 2 bee hives, and a large garden with 40 raised beds.  There is room for overnight camping (tents can be provided), and this is where we host our monthly full moon drummings.

“Metta” is a Buddhist term for “lovingkindness”.  Combine that with many images you might associate with “wing” . . . flight, protection, difference, etc. . . . and you’ll feel the spirit of our name.
