The Peace Education Institute is the educational partner of the Peace House of Oklahoma City. In that capacity we function as the financial sponsor of the Fall Peace Festival because it is the primary educational program of the Peace House.
For the past few years, the Peace Education Institute has also provided a children's activity area during the Festival so that children who attend would have a room with activities just for them. Volunteers plan and staff the room. Here are some photo's from the 2007 Children's Activity Center at the Peace Festival.
Above is the Story Quilt, which was stocked with peaceful children's stories, and right of that are children working on a large floor puzzle of the globe with children dancing around it.
